Jon Hamm has completed a 30-day stint in rehab for alcohol addiction.
The ‘Mad Men’ star reportedly checked into Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut at the end of February to undergo treatment.
A spokesperson for the 44-year-old actor confirmed the news to gossip website TMZ.com, saying: ”With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward.”
Jon previously admitted he battled depression after his father died when he was 20.
During an interview with The Observer in 2010, he said: ”I was … unmoored by that. I struggled with chronic depression. I was in bad shape.
”I did do therapy and antidepressants for a brief period, which helped me. Which is what therapy does: It gives you another perspective when you are so lost in your own spiral. It helps. And honestly? Antidepressants help!
”You can change your brain chemistry enough to think: ‘I want to get up in the morning; I don’t want to sleep until four in the afternoon. I want to get up and … go to work and …’ Reset the auto-meter, kick-start the engine!”
The ‘Game of Thrones’ star, who is currently expecting her second child with a mystery man, admits her split from musician ex-husband Peter Loughran in 2011 after four years of marriage took a toll on her.
She said: ”It’s tough. There’s a lot of sadness and disappointment.”
But the 41-year-old actress, who has battled depression in the past, credits their five-year-old son, Wylie, for helping her to get over their split.
She told the April issue of MORE magazine: ”I haven’t had a spell in a long time. I think some people’s brains are just wired that way if you’re a thinker. People who never get anxious always amaze me. The world could be breaking up and they’re saying, ‘Everything’s fine!’ Getting older and having kids, you learn how to become less serious about it all.”
Meanwhile the British beauty, who plays Cersei Lannister in the HBO drama series, admits she is addicted to tattoos.
She said: ”I always want more. It’s a terrible thing. I’ll be outside a tattoo shop and hear the needle and think, ‘I could just get a little one that nobody would see …’
”It’s something you can’t run from. You have to sit and find a way through [the discomfort]. I find a real calm, a real peace to it.”
Christina Milian has a ”very special relationship” with Lil Wayne.
The ‘Dip It Low’ hitmaker, who has been coy about the rapper since they first sparked dating rumours last July, admits he is her ideal man.
The 33-year-old singer said: ”The deal is he’s my man…crush. I think he’s awesome. He and I have a very special relationship and I think I’ve always been very careful with it publicly because when you have something special it’s like everybody picks apart words. They’ll pick apart a moment in a picture and take something that’s special and trash it.”
But Christina, who has five-year-old daughter Violet from a previous marriage, claims she no longer cares what critics think.
She told the May issue of Latina magazine: ”I’m just in a new place. I’m a grown woman. The haters are definitely wrong if they think I care. I can’t figure you people out. I just want to do me.
”I’m not afraid to blame myself for any of my own faults or just to analyse things in a different way, but I don’t over analyse either. I still gotta live life, but being able to look at myself and recognise my own faults makes me the more mature Christina that I am today.”
Amanda Seyfried says the idea of becoming a mother seems ”natural” to her.
The ‘While We’re Young’ star, who has been dating Justin Long since 2013, admits she is eager to have children in the future.
Asked if she wants to have a family at some point, the 29-year-old actress said: ”I think it’s an important chapter. There are some people who just know innately what they are, what they’re capable of. Yeah, it seems natural.”
Unlike her wild character Darby in the new movie, the blonde beauty claims she isn’t particularly carefree and prefers spending quiet nights at home.
She told UsMagazine.com: ”I’m comfortable in the familiar. I’m not a risk-taker. I’m a nester, so I’m nothing like [her]. Not in that respect.”
Amanda also doesn’t understand why people love sharing intimate information on social media.
She said: ”[Younger people] spend the entire day on Instagram, and they also take pictures of themselves and post them all the time with a veiled brag. It’s sad.”
But she added: ”Taylor Swift is pretty hip. She seems pretty honest. I think that’s hip. She’s promoting knowing yourself, and that’s the best idol.”
Miles Teller doesn’t see the point in paying off his student loans.
The ‘Whiplash’ star, who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2009, still plans to gradually pay back his tuition fees despite his huge success in Hollywood.
The 28-year-old actor explained: ”My business manager says the interest is so low, there’s no sense in paying them off.
”I can, if I want to have that badge of accomplishment, but until then I still very much have my NYU loans.”
But Miles admits he doesn’t remember much about his studies.
He said: ”I couldn’t tell you a single thing I learned in college. You’re into it at the time and then when you leave, you kind of forget it.”
The ‘Insurgent’ actor will star in three more movies this year and also recently signed up to appear in ‘The Fantastic Four 2′.
But the heartthrob insists he is still very picky when it comes to selecting roles.
He told Vulture.com: ”I never pick anything based on, oh, this is what’s out there. I don’t work for the sake of working. Everything that comes my way has been thought out in terms of what it’s doing.
”The difference between the small movies and the big movies is just comfortability. When you do a smaller movie, you relinquish any vanity because all the money has to go into making the film. You sit around a bit more in the big films, but the preparation is the same.”
Heidi Klum wants her children to have a ”normal childhood”.
The 41-year-old model – who has Leni, 10, Henry, nine, Johan, right, and five-year-old Lou with ex-husband Seal – insists she won’t be pushing her kids towards a showbiz career and just wants them to enjoy their hobbies without pressure.
She said ”I don’t want to push them towards anything. I want them to do what they want to do, so I’m going to just see what their interests are.
”They play football and do gymnastics and they are about to start with piano again. They have hobbies but I want them to have a normal childhood.”
And the ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge thinks the kids are still too young to know what they want from their futures just yet.
Asked if they have shown signs of following in her footsteps, she said: ”I think they are too young to decide what they want to do yet.
”My daughter likes to design with those little cut-out books where you stick the dress and the shoes on the doll, but other than that, not really.”
The blonde beauty knows being a working mother is tough but feels ”grateful” her work offers her flexibility.
She told HELLO! magazine: ”I go to work during the week just like other working mums and I usually have weekends off to go and watch my kids play football.
”I feel like I have more freedom than most working mums because sometimes I’m lucky enough to get a day off during the week. I’m grateful for the flexibility I have.”
Kelly Rowland let her husband name their baby son.
The 34-year-old singer and her spouse Tim Witherspoon welcomed their first child Titan into the world four months ago and she has admitted it was her beau who came up with the little one’s moniker because she wanted him to have a role.
Speaking to E! News, she said: ”Tim said that’s [Titan is] what he wanted the name to be. I actually told him to name the baby.
”I gave him the complete responsibility because I did everything else! I pushed the baby, I carried the baby, I’m dressing the baby and I’m changing the baby. Everything else! So yeah, I’m like, ‘You name the baby!’ ”
However, the former Destiny’s Child beauty would have made him change the name if he had picked something she wasn’t keen on.
When asked what she would have done if Tim had chosen a name she didn’t like, she said with a giggle: ”I would have told him to change it until we got it right.”
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty has sprung back into shape since giving birth to little Titan but she insists she’s still got a way to go until she’s back to her pre-pregnancy weight.
She said: ”I’m not in a crazy rush [to lose the baby weight]. I’m just embracing the weight I have on.
”I mean, I just had a baby four months ago and I feel great. My baby is healthy, my family is happy and those that I love are healthy, so I’m not rushing to get back to it.”
Kendra Wilkinson reportedly made Hank Baskett buy her a new diamond ring after she flushed her wedding band down the toilet.
The ‘Kendra on Top’ star dumped her wedding ring in a fit of anger after her husband was accused of cheating on her with transsexual model Ava London but she forced him to get her a new sparkler now that they’re attempting to repair their marriage.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ”Kendra wanted a new ring and she made Hank buy it for her.
”Kendra is committed to making the relationship work and so she wanted to wear a big ring that would send a signal to everyone that she’s married and is staying married. She wanted something new and sparkly and she got what she wanted.”
Kendra – who has children Hank Jr., five, and 10-month-old Alijah with her husband – admits she was close to getting a ”very fast divorce” but has her pal Jessica to thank for taking care of her after the allegations emerged, just five weeks after she gave birth to the couple’s daughter.
When asked why she changed her mind about divorcing Hank, she said previously ”My best friend Jessica. She stayed with me. She fed me when I hadn’t eaten for a couple of days. She was the only person to remind me what kind of man Hank is …
”If it wasn’t for her, it would have been a very fast divorce.
”I’m dealing with the aftermath. Hank has told me what happened and I’ve forgiven him. I have my ring on, I love him and we’ll stay married.”
Rob Kardashians’ famous family urged him to take down his insulting online post aimed at his sister Kim Kardashian West.
The 28-year-old designer’s relatives – including sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner – were reportedly stunned by his behaviour on Instagram over the weekend and advised him to take down the disturbing post aimed at his sibling.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ”The Kardashian family urged Rob to take down the post, but he refuses to do so. At this point, it is too late anyways.
”No one can believe that Rob would do such a thing as he did this weekend. It is one thing to talk to the family about how he feels about Kim, but it is a completely different story to put her on blast like he did. Kim would never do such a thing to Rob, or to any of her other siblings for that matter.”
However, it is believed Rob, who once claimed he was a father on Twitter before deleting it hours later, is suffering from ”depression” and his behaviour isn’t out of character.
A source added to People: ”He has a funny sense of humour and posts weird things and then deletes them. It’s just him.”
The former reality TV star hit the headlines on Sunday evening (22.03.15) when he uploaded a photograph of psychotic murderer Amy Elliott-Dunne, played by Rosamund Pike, covered head-to-toe in blood from a gruesome scene in the movie ‘Gone Girl.’
He captioned the spooky image: ”This is my sister kim , the b**ch from Gone Girl,,, (sic).”
Liam Payne has been slammed by fans after he made light of Zayn Malik’s absence by covering his face on a poster.
The One Direction hunk jokingly hid his bandmate’s face with his hand on the printed board as he, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan posed for a photograph with some fans.
Uploading the image on his Twitter account, Liam, 21, wrote: ”#makinglightofasituation sorry for the laughs guys (sic).”
Although some fans didn’t see the funny side of the post, with one – Gorgia Rose – writing: ”How dare you cover Zayn’s face? Don’t f**king do it again.”
And Ana Evans added: ”@Real_Liam_Payne what the????? Why you covering zayn;s face? Am sorry but I cant c da humour in making joke of a frnd’s absence due 2 stress (sic).”
However, the backlash didn’t stop there as Liam found himself in hot water once again when he made a joke about Justin Bieber.
One user arianasmccann wrote: ”@Real_Liam_Payne Isn’t it kinda depressing for you to know that Justin Bieber will always be more successful than you?”
To which Liam hit back with a comment about Justin’s criminal record, saying: ”How many times have I been arrested?”
The British singer didn’t apologise for his actions but did try and brush off the situation by later tweeting, ”Never mind” and ”banter.”
Meanwhile, Zayn, 22, who is meant to be on tour with his band in Asia, was signed off with stress and urged to fly back to the UK to recover following allegations he cheated on his fiancée Perrie Edwards with a mystery blonde in Thailand last week.
It is believed the star will rejoin the group at the weekend for the start of the South Africa leg of their On The Road Again tour.
David McIntosh’s ex-girlfriend has branded him a ”vile monster”.
Rachel Christie dated the former ‘Gladiators’ star – who launched another online tirade against his ex-fiancée Kelly Brook last week – for four years until 2013 and says his behaviour towards the ‘One Big Happy’ star comes as no surprise.
Rachel – who has three-year-old son Logan with David – said: ”The only word I can say [about him] is vile. He’s a manipulative and deceitful liar. He’s a monster…
”He will say nasty things about you, especially if he knows you don’t want him back. He goes to the ends of the earth to spread lies about you to make himself look good…
”He accused me of things that were completely untrue, but he’s so powerful that he made me believe what he was accusing me of was true. He posted something about me on my Facebook page. And he smashed my phone up. But because Kelly is in the public eye, he’ll do it even more. Anything that keeps him talked about, he’ll do it.”
And Rachel – who secured a non-molestation order against David after they split – went on to suggest her former lover only dated Kelly for her fame.
She said: ”Is he a sponger? 100 per cent. He would get with rich, older women behind my back. He thought they’d fund his lifestyle.”
But the former Miss England doesn’t think Kelly will be too upset by David’s antics.
She added to new! magazine: ”I don’t think she cares. I think she thrives off it. She’s not a respectful woman.”
Rob Kardashian took a swipe at his sister Kim Kardashian West on his Instagram account on Sunday (22.03.15).
The 28-year-old star compared the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ beauty, 34, to ”the b**ch” from ‘Gone Girl’ – psychotic murderer Amy Elliott-Dunne played by Rosamund Pike – after deleting every other picture from his social networking account.
Alongside a photograph of Rosamund in character covered head-to-toe in blood from one the gruesome scenes in the movie, Rob wrote: ”This is my sister kim , the b**ch from Gone Girl,,, (sic).”
The spooky post comes just days after Kim wished the sock designer a happy 28th birthday via a heartfelt message online.
She wrote last week alongside a throwback photo of them in Las Vegas: ”Happy Birthday to my one and only brother Robbie!!!! I love you so much and can’t wait to share so many more memories with you! (sic).”
Kim and Rob reportedly fell out last year when he refused to attend her and husband Kanye West’s wedding in Italy because he was reportedly so self-conscious about his expanding waistline.
Rob – who has battled with his weight over the past year – hasn’t been seen in public for months and his sister Khloé Kardashian, 30, believes he’s suffering with ”social anxiety.”
She said recently: ”I just feel, especially over the last year, Rob has become very introverted and has a kind of social anxiety.”
Bruce Willis celebrated his 60th birthday with a star-studded party in New York City on Saturday (21.03.15).
The ‘Die Hard’ actor – who turned 60 on March 19 – marked the milestone at the seafood restaurant Harlow in the Big Apple surrounded by his family and close celebrity pals.
Bruce’s wife Emma Heming – with whom he has daughters Mabel, two, and Evelyn, 10 months – treated her famous spouse to a large chocolate cake covered in pink edible flowers and watched on as he made a wish and blew out the four tall candles.
The couple posed together in an on-site photo-booth and even got to share a romantic dance in front of their friends, with the adorable moment being captured on camera.
It is believed Patti Hansen, Keith Richards, and Tony Bennett were among the A-listers present at the festivities, according to UsMagazine.com
Bruce’s daughter Tallulah, 21 – his child with ex-wife Demi Moore – also turned up at the party, while her sister Scout, 23, shared a cute message on her Twitter account to mark the occasion.
She wrote: ”Today this rapscallion turns 60 and I couldn’t be more proud and delighted to call him my father and friend.”
Bruce’s other daughter Rumer, 26, couldn’t make the bash as she was in Los Angeles rehearsing for ‘Dancing With the Stars.’
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have reportedly been ”hooking up.”
The estranged couple – who split in 2013 following three years of marriage – have allegedly been meeting up with one another whenever they get the opportunity and believe the close relationship they share is beneficial for their son Flynn, four.
A source told the US’ OK! Magazine: ”[They have been] enjoying hooking up whenever the mood and opportunity strike. They also claim that this arrangement is good for their son!”
The 31-year-old model and the hunky actor, 38, have remained on good terms since their split but sparked rumours they may be taking little steps to try and rekindle their romance last month when they left the Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party together.
Speaking about her former lover last year, Miranda had nothing but nice things to say about him, gushing: ”we both love and care about each other and genuinely want each other to be happy… we do everything to make sure our relationship is harmonious.”
Since their shocking split, the Australian beauty – who began dating the English star in 2007 – has been romantically linked to billionaire businessman James Packer and pop star Justin Bieber.
Orlando was rumoured to be dating the ‘Baby’ hitmaker’s on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez, 22, last year but he soon poured cold water over the speculation when speaking to TMZ.com.
James Corden’s British slang is confusing ‘The Late Late Show’ audiences.
The television presenter – who hails from High Wycombe, south England – is causing a problem at the rehearsals for the American chat show, which he is taking the helm of, by using British phrases.
A source said: ”We want to attract younger people who have seen ‘Austin Powers’ and know what ‘shagged’, ‘willy’ and ‘bonkers’ mean. And James and Ben [Winston; the show's producer] know there is a line that cannot be crossed, as on British TV, but there are some words which are lost in the middle ground.
”James does not push it but occasionally in rehearsals someone has to pull back and ask what ‘dodgy’ is, or can we find another phrase for ‘knackered.”’
Despite worries about James’ suitability for the role, bosses are keen on keeping him at the helm for years to come.
The insider added to The Sunday Times newspaper: ”Some Americans already think Brits are obsessed with drinking – obviously people who have never seen students on a spring break – but we do not want to play up that stereotype. We want James to run this show for the next decade or more.”
It is also said James, 36, may be offered an ”adviser” to help bridge the cultural gap in the near future.
Lily James says it will take her ”whole life” to process her dad’s death.
The ‘Cinderella’ star tragically lost her father when she was just 19-years-old but admits she did gain strength from her bereavement.
She said: ”He had cancer. That’s sort of why my experience of drama school is pretty unique – it happened whilst I was there. I think that will take the whole of my life (to process his death).
”I had a scene (in ‘Cinderella) where I was told my dad had died, so it was really hard, but I feel what’s important in the film is that Cinderella gains strength from her loss and that was something I could… That was in me. It’s s**t (not having him around).”
And Lily, 25, only has fond memories of her father.
She added: ”He was just a big kid. I always remember we’d get bored first building sandcastles.”
Meanwhile, the actress also admitted to being mischievous when she was younger.
When asked how she was naughty as a child, she told The Sunday Times’ Style magazine: ”Mainly in underage drinking – and boys! I am a hard worker, though, so when it came to revising I was a massive geek.”
And when questioned about still being crazy about boys now, she added: ”Yeah, maybe that’s why I like princesses. There’s nothing wrong with falling in love and sharing your life with someone.”
The Kardashian sisters are worried about being the ”fattest” member of the family.
Following Khloé Kardashian’s weight loss, her half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner and sister Kourtney Kardashian are reportedly doing whatever they can to ensure they’re not the ”largest” sister.
A source told America’s OK! magazine: ”You’d think they’d be happy for Khloé after the hell she’s been through, but Kendall, Kylie and even Kourtney are freaked about being ‘the fattest Kardashian girl’ now that Khloé’s got things under control.
”The narcissism and body dysmorphia is unreal – if they’re not starving themselves, they’re on cleanses, going under the knife or squeezing into dangerous corsets.”
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old television personality recently shared a picture of her amazing weight loss, revealing she had initially turned to exercise to help relieve stress.
Captioning a photo on Instagram, she wrote: ”Looking back at pictures of myself I didn’t realize at the time how unhealthy my lifestyle actually was. People love to call me the fat one but as weird as it sounds I still don’t think I would consider myself fat back then. Definitely overweight and unhealthy, yes.
”About two years ago I decided to turn to fitness as a form of therapy and as a stress reliever. I started slow and eventually I started working out 4 to 5 days a week…
”Working out is a huge part of my life now. I genuinely enjoy sweating out my frustrations and living a healthier life. My workouts are not all about vanity. (sic)”
